Kuala Lumpur Pictures

We fly to most of our weekend-trip destinations, but it's much cheaper to take the train to Malaysia than flying to Kuala Lumpur. It's a long train ride (between 7 and 10 hours), but it was cool to be traveling by train.

The Petronas Towers are the symbol of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. They are the tallest twin towers in the world, and they used to be the tallest towers. We had a great day for viewing the skyline.

Everything around the Towers is very well landscaped, and I really enjoyed the fountain in front of the visitor's entrance.

Kuala Lumpur. It's developing very quickly, as you can see.

This is me up on the skybridge. I'm 42 stories above ground for this pictures.

The Hardcore Eight who woke up at the crack of dawn to come downtown and get in line for tickets. Whoohoo!

These were some very tall towers.

On the way home, we took an overnight train like we had orginally planned. There was no space in these beds. I had a bottom bunk, which some people say was better, but I couldn't see a difference. It was a fine bed for someone my size, but the luggage was cumbersome, and it was difficult to fit if you were any taller than myself.

A whole weekend of pictures without the big sunglasses! I thought I should comment on it since I always give you a hard time. I can't wait to see pictures of you and Dumbo. I miss you.
